Aloha and welcome to Mr. Hansen's class. (Image designed using Canva)
This is the last week of Iao's summer bridge program, it's been a lot of fun! Hope you had as much fun as I did and learned a lot! We are learning about computer science from learn.code.org this week, check it out yourself.
We are working on iMovies in summer school. Each group decided what topic and type of video (PSA, music video, news story, tutorial, etc.) they wanted to make. Check back on Friday to see what we created.
Also, check out this page from Mr. Hymas featuring videos from Maui County & across the Hawaii D.O.E. It includes great information about video production from script writing to storyboarding, how to use the equipment and everything in between. Check it out: www.digital808storytellers.com We will be finishing up and showing off our "All About Me" Keynotes.
Then we will learn about a cool website you can use to draw and edit photos with called PIXLR.COM No School on Wednesday because of Kamehameha Day holiday. Toward the end of the week we will be learning about iMovie and how to make a video. Should be a fun week! Interested in learning more about Photoshop (graphic design) or Wordpress (website design)? Sign up for free camp sponosered by MEDB's STEMWorks program. Visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MAUI-PS_WP to sign up.
