It's been a very exciting year! The last day of school is this Thursday for students. 8th graders, we'll miss you! Thank you to everyone for your hard work and dedication.
Summer school begins next Tuesday....stay tuned to see what cool projects we are working on this summer. All missing work is due by Friday, May 23rd by 2 PM. You will not be able to receive credit for anything received after this deadline. Thank you to everyone who is already all caught up. Only a few more days of school left!

This week we examine learn.code.org and scratch.mit.edu to learn about computer programming. We will be using Scratch to create a maze game to show off what we have learned about programming. You can visit the instructions and the rubric HERE.
Today and tomorrow Iao STEMWorks students and staff (including Mr. Hansen, Mr. Qunell, Mr. Helfenstine, Mr. Cunningham and Mr. McCarty) will be attending the statewide conference at the Wailea Marriot. This two-day conference brings together people from all over the state to participate in professional development workshops and display projects that each individual program has been working on.
